NBC PUTS UNDISCOVERED SONGWRITERS CENTER STAGE TO FIND THE NEXT HIT SONG WITH A GROUNDBREAKING NEW COMPETITION SERIES ‘SONGLAND’

Aiming to find the next generation of hit songwriters, NBC and UTAS, the studio that brought you “World Of Dance,” are teaming up with Maroon 5’s Adam Levine, powerhouse TV producer Audrey Morrissey of “The Voice,” Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder to produce “Songland.”

The series will provide a one-of-a-kind opportunity for talented up-and-coming songwriters to be exposed to and mentored by three music producers per episode who are responsible for today’s biggest hits.

Hit making producers such as Ryan Tedder (One Republic, Taylor Swift, Adele, Beyonce), Ester Dean (Rihanna, Katy Perry, Nikki Minaj), and Shane McAnally (Keith Urban, Kelly Clarkson, Sam Hunt) will team up with songwriters to create the next big hit for one of music's top superstars. The first powerhouse episode filmed features three time Grammy nominee and Billboard chart topper Charlie Puth as the mega-recording artist.

Songwriters shape the anthems and tell the stories of each generation, and now we’re pulling back the curtain on the collaborative process. Pop, Rock, R&B, Hip-Hop, Country, Blues, Indie.

Submit your song and tell us why YOU are the next songwriting sensation.
